This is how you need to structure every single sales page you write. Let’s take a look at each one. - While writing you want to capture the reader’s attention right away. This is also known as the “hook.” You want to hook the reader in with your headline and your sub-headline to . Therefore, include something in the headline that will force the reader to keep reading.
- Once you’ve grabbed the readers’ attention then you want to peak their interest. So you want to grab a hold of the reader and give them a reason to read all the way to the end of your product sales letter. This is sometimes done by asking a provocative question and then promising to give an answer to that question sometime in the sales copy.
- After grabbing the reader’s attention and peaking their interest, you next have to get them wanting what you’re selling. You have to make the reader have a desire for what you’re offering. One of the best ways to do this is to make them feel like they can trust you and to make them feel like you’re just like them.
- The final step is to ask the reader to act. You want them to buy. Don’t ever forget to actually ask the potential customer to click on the button to buy, which is basic to marketing . And give them a little extra incentive if they do indeed buy.
Advertising a bonus gift or offering a few dollars off the price have become standard copywriter tactics. Don’t give them any choice but to act when they reach the end of your sales letter.
